With the introduction of the Kobo Tool for baseline, midline, and endline surveys, conducting surveys has become more efficient and reliable, eliminating the need for pen and paper and reducing the risk of data loss or errors. Outreach India has always kept pace with evolving technology, and this time, we decided to adopt this innovative tool for our surveys.
In May 2024, as a pilot initiative, five leaders from Khambesuwere trained to use the Kobo Collect mobile app for house-to-house data collection. They participated in a comprehensive training session at the Outreach India office, where they were introduced to the Kobo app and practiced conducting mock surveys.
Following their training, these leaders successfully conducted the baseline survey for the Goat Loan Project in Khambesu village. This hands-on experience not only enhanced their skills but also ensured accurate data collection for the project’s success.
